Yoni - referring to the female genitalia in Sanskrit - means a "holy temple".
If we think of the female body as a unique oasis, just like the holy water source in the middle of this oasis our “Yoni,” or the secret gate to and beyond of our body, contains a cosmic meaning that is difficult to conceive.
In order to help us conceive this meaning, to re-remember and strengthen our connection with existence and the universe, I would like to introduce you today to the "Yoni Egg" which I call a sacred treasure.
Stones called Yoni Egg are smooth egg-shaped crystals used for women's pelvic floor exercises and sexual healing.
The origins of the first Yoni Egg practice can be traced back to Ancient China. Known to be a very powerful tool at that time, Yoni Egg practice was kept secret, enjoyed only by the "Holy Feminines", queens and concubines in the royal palaces.
This ancient ritual remained reserved to royalty and Taoist practitioners because they believed that women who worked with sacred eggs became stronger.
Today what we call the "holy egg" is no longer a secret, and ample resources about yoni practice are readily available.
It makes me really happy to know that this knowledge is so accessible in our times, especially in our society.
But in our modern world, and through my work, I still hear that many of my sisters live out of touch with their "holy temple". Usually, when I talk about sexuality with other women, I observe that they rarely truly self-connect, that they rarely - sometimes never - reserve playful spaces for the feelings of little orgasmic joys and pleasures...
There are many reasons for this: not being able to reconcile with the body, the lack of self-esteem or self-love, sexual abuse or traumas, past relationship experiences, insufficient or wrong knowledge about sexuality… I call it the “roller coaster” effect in emotional relationships with self and others.
By nature we all have a cosmic gate that is introverted, has a depth, and is in profound contact with our emotions.
Yoni - a temple that lives, feels, speaks and definitely has a memory.
The sexual and emotional traces of every relationship we experience are located in this sacred space, while emotional fluctuations and hormonal imbalances may also limit the field of the joy-pleasure-bliss trio.
In such circumstances a yoni egg can be an excellent support. In fact I believe that the contact with the egg can be an endless journey, full of individual surprises.
Yoni egg is a great guide whereby you can find yourself in a wonderland, discover the authentic player within you and, most importantly, build the awareness of the integrity of your body.
I am convinced that yoni eggs can be explored for more than one purpose. Whatever your intention is, the egg will manifest its healing power.
Physically, besides being a great tool to strengthen and control the vaginal muscles, it’s also a holistic source of magic for the purpose of gaining self-awareness, expanding the capacity for pleasure, achieving more satisfying sexual relationships as well as a better quality of life.
The energies of the sacred stone increase your sexual energy and, with it, help improve your sex life and increase your orgasmic capacity. Connecting more deeply with your own inner temple will then have positive healing effects on your sexual endeavors...
Yoni eggs stimulate millions of nerve cells and reflexology points in the vaginal wall,giving you an opportunity to rediscover pleasure points that you have perhaps forgotten or never discovered before.They can be your best friend in preparing the body for multiple orgasms not limited to the clitoris.
Yoni egg also helps regulate the blood flow in the pelvic area and thus helps balance your menstrual cycles.

So How to Use the "Yoni Egg"?
Let's think like this: A very powerful healing guide is visiting you to heal your temple. How would you like to invite her?
After receiving the egg, prepare a ritual, even a small one... It can be accompanied by rose petals, lavenders, laurel leaves and herbs that support sacred feminine energy. Maybe a few candles and an incense... The creativity is entirely up to you :)
You may thread a string through the hole at the tip of your egg, so it will be easier to remove. (Dental floss can also be used, menthol-free of course.)
Take your egg to the ritual area that you’ve created, whose energy is transformed meanwhile, and focus on the objective of the healing.
Take a few deep breaths when you feel ready.
It is very important to relax the body and concentrate, especially on your pelvic floor.
After relaxing and preparing the body, as if massaging it gently in, insert the egg into the entrance of the vagina; then slowly push it in. Choose a position where you feel comfortable. You may lie on your back or stay in a squatting position.
Just keeping the egg inside is very curative. But if you want to deepen your connection over time, you may perform three different exercises that I will share next...
1. Lie on your back while yoni egg is inside you and bend your knees with the soles of your feet flat on the ground. Bring your attention towards the pelvic muscles, and after a few breaths, as you inhale ,gently tighten the pelvic muscles to enclose the egg inside. Relax and unwind as you exhale. Repeat this 10-15 times.
2. While yoni egg is inside you, bend your knees in a lying position with the soles of your feet flat on the ground. Slowly start to lift your hips upwards while breathing in, and slowly lowering your hips towards the ground as you breathe out. Repeat this about 10-15 times.
3. Come into a sitting position with your knees bent and your heels under your hips. (The pose we call “vajrasana” in yoga asanas.) While straightening your spine and taking a deep breath, bend forward slightly by squeezing the pelvic muscles. While exhaling, you can slowly straighten the spine by relaxing the muscles. Repeat this 10-15 times.
Your “self-love” journey begins when you make an intention to reconnect with yourself, when you accept your body and soul as they are!
